Blower Motor in Jordan

Coming soon on Lagili — starting in Jordan and expanding across the Middle East.

Tell me when you launch

What it does

The blower motor drives the fan that pushes conditioned air through the cabin vents. Its speed is set by a resistor pack or an electronic control module, depending on the vehicle.

Signs it needs replacing

  • No airflow at all from the vents
  • Only the highest fan speed working
  • Squealing or rattling that varies with fan speed
  • Airflow that cuts out and returns intermittently

FAQ

Why does only the highest fan speed work?

That is the classic failed blower resistor. Lower speeds run through resistor elements while the top speed usually bypasses them entirely — so when the resistor burns out, only maximum survives. The resistor is far cheaper than the motor.

What makes a blower motor fail early?

A blocked cabin filter, most often. The motor works harder against the restriction, draws more current and overheats. Replacing the cabin filter on schedule genuinely extends blower motor life.
