- Chattering or juddering during the sweep

FAQ
How often should wiper blades be replaced?
Roughly every six to twelve months. Sun and heat are harder on the rubber than use is — blades on a car parked outdoors in summer harden and split well before they have done much wiping.
Why do my wipers judder rather than glide?
Either the rubber has hardened and lost flexibility, or the glass is contaminated with an oily film that stops the blade releasing smoothly. Clean the glass properly first; if judder persists, the blades have gone.
