How long do spark plugs last?
Copper plugs run about 30,000 km, platinum roughly 60,000, and iridium can reach 100,000 or more. Use the type your engine was designed for — a longer-life plug is not automatically the right plug.
Do all spark plugs need replacing at once?
Yes. They wear at the same rate, and mixing a new plug with old ones produces uneven combustion across cylinders. It is a set replacement, not a per-cylinder repair.
