How often does the cabin filter need changing?
Roughly every 15,000 km or once a year, sooner in dusty conditions. It is one of the cheapest parts on the car and one of the most noticeable when neglected.
Does a blocked cabin filter affect the AC?
Yes. Restricted airflow makes the cabin cool slowly and forces the blower motor to work harder, which shortens its life and can freeze the evaporator in humid weather.
